NCC are proud to announce the completion of a new installation at NHS Basildon University Hospital, for our client J.C.Watson Refrigeration Ltd. This project was a design and build, working closely with the NHS own consultant, a layout was devised that would give the Catering Manager an area suitable to handle the busy kitchen’s storage and preparation requirements.

Based on a “Corridor” design, this allowed deliveries and picking to be segregated, and good access to all the different areas of preparation, chilled and frozen foods.

Due to low ceiling height available, it was imperative to get all the required services and supplies into the required areas during the build operation, this required the collaboration of many trades, and the NCC project management team to keep things running smoothly.

J.C. Watson Ltd were given the task of providing 100% back-up to all areas, with auto-switching capabilities, a requirement which was carried out to a very high standard.

As you can see from the photo history of the project, the suit has a certain flow to it, and NCC are very proud to have been selected to complete this project.
